Dive Spaces Sat 20th Oct - Portsmouth Area

Hi, Southsea Sub-Aqua Club may have a couple of spaces available on the last scheduled dive of "the season":

Saturday 20th October - HMS Warwick Deeping (max depth 36m), 2nd dive TBD.

HMS Warwick Deeping was a 545 ton fishing trawler requisitioned by the admiralty for anti submarine duties sunk by German E-Boats in 1940. Today she lies 7m proud in 36m, with her deck gun lying on the seabed. A very nice dive that you can do the whole of very easily in a single dive with lots of life.

The dive is on Wight Diver leaving from Hayling Island Ferry pontoon in Eastney (by West Portsmouth).

Cost £40.

Boat leaves at 07:30am

Excellent Neap tide, diving on low water.

If interested then please contact Dave Purvis at diving@bsac009.org.uk or on 01256-814209 as soon as possible – 1st come first served.

Regards

Richie Ross
