spoke to TB this morning to see where the tickets are - they have all gone to Ross apparently

flights are BA, luggage allowance is 46kg

I'd better go & buy a bigger bag

46Kg!!! I packed and halved it coz I thought it'd be around 20kg.

Where we meeting up to collect tickets etc and what time?

luggage allowance is 23kg hold, 23kg sports kit,
BA are quite strict that its a max of 23kg per item - they will/have charged excess baggage rates if a case is over, you cannot have 2 pieces 46kg total (ie 30kg + 16kg) it must be 2 x 23kg.

hand luggage :-
· one standard sized bag, maximum size must not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22 inches x 17.5 inches x 9.85 inches) including wheels, pockets and handles
· a maximum weight of 23kg (51lbs) applies and you must be able to lift the bag unaided into the overhead lockers on the aircraft (copied from ba.com this morning)


These are very good allowances compared to other airlines.

After March TB will be using Excel again (GBairways sold to Easyjet) .

so it that potentially 2x 20kg + 1x 23kg = 63kg total?!
