nice dive is wastwater the ropes to the pinickels are on the left of the car park , you have to pass the graves then it is all down hill to 47m to see the noems sorry about the spelling its friday night

Well, they're in memoriam plaques rather than graves, but still, they do have a certain atmosphere about them.

I also thought the gnome garden is now >50m as the police diving squad had removed the shallower one, but cant go below 50m so the other one is safe from them!

Arfie and I are planning a trip up to Wastwater on Saturday 27 October. We are going to drop in at Capers at 9 for a dive to check kit. The get fills, both air and stomach, then head over to Wastwater for a dive. Plan is do dive the Pinnacles no deeper than 30 metres in a general Bimbley stylee!

Anyone most welcome to come along, specially if you know the dive at Wastwater, we are planning on being there maybe around 1pm.

Scuba Diving the English Lake District is the best web pages i have found for the lakes loads of helpfull tips and entry exits contact etc.
Wish we could be there but the other half has E F R booked that morning.
Dont forget ya tourch as it do get dark real quick done at 30mts and it is very cold last time we were in it dropped from 14degrees to 5 int a few mtrs. there is a line out to the drop off a good guide for ya, say hi to the sking teddy half way along...have fun.
