| Imported post Fi / Gav Whats the accomodation options like in Oban? Do we need to book early, do you reckon its half term up there then?? Would that be a problem..... :robo: |

| Imported post I'd already consigned myself to the (boring) inland stuff for instructing purposes, its just that my other half has had to miss out on a nice trip to Loch Aline due to study pressures so I thought it would be a nice alternative to go on a weekend trip with the YD-ers. I usually find that Oban etc is pretty amenable re the weather as there are lots of excellent sheltered areas when the wind whips it up (unlike our NE coast Regards steve |

| Imported post As I have already stated. Gav does NOT do camping. Accomodation is usally pretty easy to book. We'll need to get it lined up 7-10 days before. Do people have a preference for self-accomodation or hotel/B&B? I must admit I like stayingh in town so I can be close to the Oban Inn and other beer shops. I don't mind organising but I might co-opt people in to arranging some of the facets. Should be fun ! |

You mean Tralee Bay? I told the missus that was where the dive trip was to..... She was not too impressed when she found out it was Tralee Bay, Oban - not Tralee Bay, Ireland! Ooops! And Gav does do camping - it's just his version includes 3 stars and room service. As for the smoking ;) (Edited by Driftwood at 10:07 am on Oct. 4, 2002) |
