They had a programme on BBC1 a few days ago about the air ambulance. A part of the programme had one paramedic doing her helicopter escape training in a pool. I presume the HUET must be similar, it looks fun and can't wait to have ago

I don't know if anybody else saw the programme but during the escape training the commentator mentioned that the female paramedic froze and had to be helped by a diver, yet she still passed her training

That's because you can crash into the ocean at any point and theres always a diver there...strange but true

Really looking forward to it, got a spare space for my house mate as an xmas present (and his mum lives in Southampton so good chance for a drinking session).

well, should brighten up a normally bleak Feb. I might go down on the saturday to take a look around as I have never been on HMS victory or seen the mary rose display

Don’t forget the HMS Warrior it’s the Iron Clad ship worth a look next door to the Victory, however the entrance fee for the SETT also allows you access to the submarine museum on the same site, if you’ve not been there is worth looking at, you get to go in a real one all be it an old one.
