Hello to all,

Firstly sorry to nose, but i do work for HOrsea and also will proabably be your SETT supervisor on the day so i am now gunna try and answer your questions and if any of you need more calification please do ask.

Right offical Horsea lines on your previos 30m dive, as to recent this isnt as much that important, what we like to see is that this isnt the buddy pairs first dive to depth, if there is newly qualififed person then we ideally would like to see them buddied with an experienced diver.

As to cameras in the HUET, i do not see why this should be a huge problem, but please make sure to ask your instructors on the day, we have just had another group do the HUET and they loved it, even managed to do a run in complete darkness.

On the day the Supervisor is not going to ask to see a log book but will ask to see a qualification and you will all need to fill in some paperwork including a medical self declaration form.

I hope this helps, i will try and keep an eye on the forum to try and answer more questions or otherwise please do give us a call at Horsea.

Craig

Thanks for that Craig, any ideas on how many dives we get?

Am wondering whether to bring the twinset down or just a single and pony rig?

Cheers,
Lou

Right in the SETT its just one dive, lasting about 25-30 mins, so whatever you need and in teh HUET their is no need for dive kit because all bits & bobs (technical talk) that are required are provided.

I probably won't . 10l ali with shorts and T shirt. Luxury - just like being on holiday - except no pina colada when I get out

And no rocks at the bottom either to fill your socks!

I'll take my twins as they're easier to set up, and in a pool, I'm at least 5Kg overweight with those alone; I'll try not to hit the bottom with a thud.
