Malta - 24th April to 8th May.

I'm running a trip to Malta next year. The overall dates are 24th April to 8th May but you can do a long weekend, a whole week or the whole two weeks.

The second week includes the first May Bank Holiday so it's only 4 days off work.

We will be diving a variety of wrecks ranging from 30-45m in the first week to 45m to 70m in the second week.

This is an ideal opportunity to make the most of Malta's great weather and get in some good early diving.

I will arrange equipment hire, accomodation, transport to/from the airport, to/from dive sites, boats and gas.

Some of the diving in the first week will be shore diving but the second week will be mainly boat diving.

Flights to Malta are very cheap and BA prices are currently £80.60

Wrecks during the first week are likely to be;
- Tugboat Rozi 30m
- Umm El Farood 33m
- P29 33m
- Karwela 45m
- Imperial Eagle 42m
- Blenheim Bomber 42m

and during the second week
- Polynesian 60m
- HMS Southwold 70m
- HMS Stubborn 56m

Prices for weekends will be £300 and for the whole week £580. This includes accomodation, dives, twinset and stages, transport to/from airport and dive sites, boat fees and boat fees. The only extra are your gas, flights and food/drink.

Advanced Nitrox/Deco Procedures, Advanced Wreck, Trimix and Advanced Trimix courses can be run during the trip.

The price is the same as it includes a twinset or a set of RB cylinders.

We will have access to Helium, O2 and Sorb;
He 0.05 Euro/L
O2 0.0125 Euro/L
Sorb 11.25 Euro/Kg

Hmm, interested in the second week - however I need to know if Jutland is still on as I'm hitting the limit of cash reserves and something has to give.

For non divers the cost would be £75 for the long weekend and £100 for the week.

Ok, I'm in for week 2

I'll get in touch about when you need deposits, full payment etc.

Now to see if we can persuade that Touhig bloke to come along - see if any of the wrecks are big enough for him to miss

The Polynesian and HMS Southwold may be big enough.

But don't tell him that HMS Stubborn is a bit cigar shaped.
