Thumbs up Farnes in December
Hi everyone

Ben (Seal Diver) has been doing a great job in notifying most of us who want to dive the Farnes over winter of available space on william Shiels boat and we were all set to dive 08 December. Apparently this date had been taken some time ago so its not an option for us, however we have been told 01 December is available.

I have just been speaking to William, who had been away for 2 weeks and so this is the reason why some of you did not get a reply from him! William and I discussed the possibility of diving Sundays also, if anyone is available and wants to.

So, if any of you are wanting to dive the Farnes over a weekend througout the winter (and as always it is weather permitting) please contact William direct on 01665 721297, or email him: diver@farne-islands.com. Some groups are already booked, but there could be space available for one or two buddy pairs.

The weather is so unpredictable lately (this weekends being canned), so Saturday's and/or Sunday's are options for you. Hopefully we'll all get a chance to dive soon, fingers crossed!!

Thanks mate.

Yes - weather is always an issue and until the skipper is familiar with all the divers and confident in their ability to cope with rough weather we will get dives binned when the wind gets above 20mph.

Basically if you are interested in either / and / or 1st or 15th give William a call (01665 721297), get your name down then keep your eye on the metrep!

I have my first Christmas party on 01st, but would be up for 08th or 15th at either the Farnes or Eyemouth if anyone else fancies.

Yep, there'll be no need to sling your towel on a sun lounger to reserve it for the surface interval, there'll be plenty to go round
