Red Sea, Oct/Nov 2008, MV Tala/Red Sea Explorers

Hi All,

After the amazing success of the trip I ran this year to the Red Sea, on MV Tala, I am putting together another one for next year. Dates and Exact costs will be confirmed as soon as I can work them out (and as soon as Faisal let's me know ). This year the costs were 850 Euros plus flights and Extras (Scooter Hire, Stage bottles, Helium, Alchohol) but includes as much 32% nitrox as you can breath.

The Boat takes 20 people, and I'd love to see it full, as that would mean even more amazing diving going on.

The trip is open to anyone on OC (as long as they are "DIR-Friendly"), although anyone contemplating coming with an RB-80 might be considered

If you are interested in a place please add your name below:

(The small print - At the moment I will consider all the places "provisionally booked", once I have set the dates/cost, If you are not planning on coming please remove your name, as I do not want to be chasing people who have no intention of showing up)

Iain/Cat/Tim I have added you to the list as you all expressed an interest. I can't remember if anyone else expressed a firm interest, so if I've forgotten to add you, I apologise, just add you name to the list now

Thanks

John

This looked like a fantastic trip this year and would want to go in 2008. The back end of the year is much better for me due to the imminent arrive of baby dennis so this would give me something else to look forward to in the new year.

Hi John,

A couple of questions please, is the boat/crew/other divers, non DIR diver friendly? and do the RSE insist on all dives over 30m being done on mix?

TIA

Safe diving,
Steve

Hi Steve,

The Boat/Crew/other divers are generally "non-DIR" friendly, however you may find yourself slowly "assimilated" during the week. About the only thing I think we would want to insist on is long hose/primary donate.

RSE do insist on mix for dives deeper than 30m. From a Dive buddy point of view, you may struggle for Mix dives unless Suitably DIR.

Thanks

John

Thanks for that John.
