Some Photographs

Three of these photos are courtesy of Big_Si (the good quality ones).

Here she is, the ship we will be staying on. About a third the way down from the pointy end, you can see a gap in the railing where we exit the boat and enter the sea, beside it is the diver's lift that brings us back on board so effortlessly. The ship is at it mooring point in Stromness here.

On the dive deck as we were all starting to get organised. Hazel was threatening on changing the seating layout, so it may be a little different by he time we arrive there. You leave you kit here all the time and don't need to move it even for filling tanks. You just walk away and they are mysteriously filled with your desired gas when you come back for the next dive

Inside the ship. What you can't see here is the sound system, the DVD player or the wide screen TV which is in this room. To the right (again out of sight) is the steps going down to the bunks.

If we have some transport, then you can get your photo taken beside the sign for this town (assuming they haven't all been nicked), yes this is a real sign for a town/village of that name . I wouldn't like to embarrass McFastyBloke by telling you that this is him - Oops!

Only 626 days to go

1. Red wine was available for the night time phots, as you can see by the undersuits, these were day time photos.

2. Caravans??? In Scapa! Heeelllooooo Scapa flow is waay up north and nothing to stop the wind but the sea. If it isn't on the water or has at least two stories of foundations, it blows over.

3. Scrap is some of the lower quality wrecks.

BTW Peter, are you bringing a spare twinset just in case

I know that you lot tried to make everyone on the boards to know every detail of that trip before and after you were all on it, but I think I must have missed one or two points

I will do the deposit thing with everyone very soon, I am just giving everyone a chance to get all excited before I ask for cash

Confirmed the time of work with my boss today. She was amused for a while then proceeded to take the piss. "so Liam, you plan your diving 19 months ahead? But you probably cant tell me what class you are teaching next period...."
No real response to that so i hid behind the PE staff.

Anyway i'm fully confirmed and a bit over excited. 19 months ........ is that enough time to build up to tdi extended range ???
