the lough was 8c in parts today when paul and i were diving.
freeeeeezzzziiinnnnggg. theres a seal on the alistor thats hitching lifts off divers. if you know what i mean...

You're lucky you saw him. I turned round a number of times and couldn't see seal or my fins. Not that the vis was bad out there or anything.

And that diver who was coming out of the water when we went in, he told me the vis wasn't bad at all once you got out there.

And no, it wasn't me kicking the vis up before anybody comments!

Subs bench?

Hi,

I posted a while ago before I moved to Ireland. Well I'm now here and my dive gear is being sent as I type. I'd be interested to be on the subs bench for this trip but I just have a question or two.

I've got my deep and nitrox certs and don't really plan on anything more than that at this stage. I'm not really into tech diving. If i put my name on the subs bench and a spot came up, would there be someone to dive with, or is everyone planning longer deco dives? I've got around 350 dives in water temps down to 10C and viz anywhere from 3m+. I've also had my drysuit for 12months now.

Thanks heaps and I hope I get to met some of you out on the water soon!

You can dive with us Mel, we won't be doing long deco.
Although 2 years is a long time
