Super - wasn't a case at all of being angry or upset - I was genuinely confused. It didn't make sense to have a boat of 12 and a boat of 8 and I wondered what the organisation *was* going to be and whether the 2nd boat was confirmed on a fixed price per person basis, or needed to be filled. Your switch just sort of precipitated that thought. Sorry if it sounded otherwise. Obviously if you are travelling back on the Sunday you will go on the first boat anyway due to distance.

Hi everyone, just caught up on the thread. Sorry to see a couple of people have dropped out - Fiona & Principia but glad to see a couple of new names on the list - (I'll contact those involved separately to sort out payments etc).

Firstly, as was mentioned at the start of the thread, the current boat listings are just a guide. It was stated that since it can be a fair way to travel for some people, those who are travelling furthest will be given first dibs for Sunday, and then I'm happy for people to choose - but I'll give precedence in booking order (if that makes sense).

Re allocation of the spaces, we're paying for a space on the boat, not booking the entire boat - therefore if we don't fill one of the boats, Porthkerris are within their rights to fill the extra spaces. If they don't fill them, knowing Mike I'd be surprised if he has any problems with spreading people around the two trips to make a little more space for all involved.

OK, in terms of 'attendees', this should be the current list - to hopefully remove confusion, I've removed the boat1/boat2 headings but as I said above preference will be in terms of distance, then order of signing up to the trip.

Personally, I'd like a manacles and the wreck 'The City of Ghent' - its a bit more of a trek out, but if we get conditions anything like last year it was fantastic - have a look at some of Mark's pics in this thread.
