| Annual YD Porthkerris Do OK, its come around again Anyway, we're looking at the weekend of the 26/27th July which is neaps, so should give some nice dives without having to worry too much about current. As always, the plan is to have a max depth of 30-35m on the dives unless agreed by everyone on the trip, so please no requests for 45m stuff Mike and everyone down there always look after us well, and the boat Celtic Cat is excellent, fast and has lots of cover in case the weather gets a bit wet. ![]() Costs will be £50 per day which includes 2 dives and lunch onboard (sandwiches, crisps, chocolate etc - there's always veggie friendly stuff included, but if you have any requirements i.e. vegan etc, then please let me know and I'm sure something can be sorted.) Porthkerris can provide air and nitrox available on site upto 300 BAR (and always seem to do good fills). Please bear in mind that there's no onboard compressor so you'll either need twins or 2 cylinders. If we get enough people, Mike has said that he'll run the boat twice - same as last year - so we can have upto 24 people on the Cat. If that's the case, preference will be given on the Sunday morning run to those that have furthest to travel. As always if we get more than that, there's also RIB's available. Saturday - Boat 1 1. Payment wise, we'll need a 50% deposit before mid-February, and the balance will be due 8 weeks before the trip. There are several trip reports, photo threads re Porthkerris in the archive - but please ask away if you've got any questions. Accommodation wise, Porthkerris do camping onsite, but be aware the ground is quite rocky - not a problem but we've had a few bent tent pegs in the past
