How we all doing folks for next weekend? Everyone still on? Anyone thinking of pulling out? Make the appropriate sacrafices to the weather gods. For those whose first dip of the year it might be the water temp is a balmy 7-8degC

I'll post up some info in a couple of days on the meeting place/time for Sat & Sun for folk who are not overnighting.

Cheers, Stephen

OK, so keeping in tune with the Tech diving rule "Two lost drivers are better than one" (or something like that). Who is driving up on Saturday morning from the Belfast direction, maybe I can follow someone, so I can blame someone else for getting me lost trying to find Geoff's place?

Thanks

Stephen McElhone can't make Sat so Netdrum/Derek gets the Sat place.

Here's the meet times for the weekend:
Saturday 11am at pier for HMS Racoon and Sunday at 11.45am

Pier is Portmore at Malin Head (see the wee map at the start of this thread)

Who is arriving on Friday night?

Does anyone need 02?

We are thinking of coming up Friday night.

I will need a fill, as I am looking for a pole section in a canal, and I haven't found it yet, can't loose my 100% record, did find a nice shiny stainless propeller though.

Ken

PM me your phone number for when I get lost

Brace yerself Ken - Geoff was asking me either to find out who needs 02 or to tell folk to bring their own 02 or maybe he just doesn't have enough pressure to decant for CCR divers - I'll ring him later in the week to find out which. At the depths we'll be at some of that EAN21 or Tx21/0 will do you fine

Its only 02 - you can still get air fills up there no prob.

S

Currently forecast as Force 7 at Malin about the time of our first dive

I'm not going to worry about the weather until at least Thurs eve at the earliest. It is still winter

If it all goes to hell don't worry I'll be in touch with Geoff and he can best advise whats possible.
