Updated

Some friends of mine (including YDer GCParris) have a nice hardboat booked to dive Pembrokeshire over Easter weekend (dive Fri 21st, Sat 22nd, Sun 23rd March 2008). Two of us have had to drop out, so there are two places available, on two of the three days.

Diving will be recreational depths up to about 30m, mix of wreck and reef, with seals with a bit of luck!

The hardboat is Predator normally skippered by Len, who is a good skipper and a good laugh (but don't believe his tales of full bottles of brandy on a wreck )

Meet on pontoon to load the boat at 9am each day, Neyland Marina.

Cost is £135 REDUCED now only £30 per diver per day (two dives each day, only £15 per dive!).

The group are staying at the Ferry House Inn in Milford Haven, the number is 01646 600270. You could join them there if there's space, or suit yourselves.

They are a nice friendly bunch, a mix of blokes and girls and a mix of experience levels - nothing too serious just some fun diving and a few beers after.

Usual rules, by putting your name down below you're committing to take the place and pay in advance, £30 per diver per day

Sat 22 March
space 1 - held awaiting payment - Lloydwatkin
space 2 - held awaiting payment - Lloydwatkin (for Old man Taylor)

Sun 23 March

space 2 - held awaiting payment - Copperband

Cheers,
Dave.

The Saturday places are back up for grabs if anyone wants them due to unforseen circumstances....

Please PM me if you're interested in the spots.

Cheers, Lloyd.

Dear all, it's looking like this weekend is going to be bad weather-wise. Force 8 tomorrow, Force 6 Saturday according to Len the skipper and Pembrokeshire weather forecaster.
He is happy for us to call it off and refund.

What are your feelings? As we are all based up here in London we are considering calling it as its a long way to go for potentially no dives!

Gareth.

Given that Simon can't make it then obviously its better for me if its off, but I'll go with the crowd.

Latest update from the skipper is that he is advising us to bin it as we will not have any good dives (if any) this weekend.
However on the bright side he has said he will transfer the boat booking to the August bank holiday weekend.
Let me know if you are up for this, otherwise we'll have to look at reselling some places for the August BH (if that's what everybody wants) and getting some refunds sorted out.

Gareth.

It's a great shame and I wouldn't be able to dive Pembrokeshire in August but hopefully I will, eventually, get a dive out of Wales

Copperband and I will now be diving Chepstow on the Saturday
