Ratty,
where are you guys staying what are you diving?

we'll need to meet and try beer together
Quite a few of us are camping at Riverside down by the Sainsbury's junction of the A38.
We are diving the Scylla and the JEL one day, and the other day is to be decided, but probably Persier and something...

Northerner ? I'm a mad Midlander I'll have you know

Ian, We're still on for the Monday right? I've booked us three inot the Mountbatten centre, and got wee Camie a swish Life Jacket, for when he's in the water taxi to the Babican. (He hates it )

Lou and Caroline, You'll have to pop down even if you're not diving, to see the 'wee man'. Oh and Josie has another in the oven....

Update

The wind has been a bit strong for the past week. Cliff, the skipper of Fintan, will make the call tomorrow (Thursday) and I will post on here in the evening and email.

If anyone can bring a decanting whip along then that will be handy for a couple of people.

Ropes off on Sat will be 9.30am

Fab weekend

I am a tad jaded after the 275 mile trip back, but I cannot think of a better way of celebrating my birthday than going diving with some great people and doing some fantastic dives.

Saturday
Totness Castle 43m - biggest lobster ever seen
Breakwater fort - jon dory out hunting

Sunday
Elk 31m - great viz until the yellow box silt moneys hit the deck.
James Eagan Layne-nuff said, you either know the magic or you don't

Cliff the skipper of Fintan saw us proud all weekend. Total star.

I will sum the weekend with this.......
Cost of a spare fin strap - £5
Cost of the ferry to the Barbican £1.50
Cost of the return back from the Barbican, and being called "Dad" £1.50
The admission from Dave "who should know better" Simpson that he has jumped in without his weightbelt-absolutely priceless
