Eyemouth shore diving Sun 24th Feb

Weather permitting I'm hoping to be up at Eyemouth doing some shore dives with Moz next Sunday - plus spending some time getting our salty weighting sorted

So - come along and say Hi if you're around!

Might be too cold for me in a semi-dry??
Would like to join if you reckon it won't be too cold - need first practice with DSMB before some promised boat diving in the summer.

No idea - I'll be in a drysuit with a 400g thinsulate
I don't dive a semi so can't comment I'm afraid.

More than happy to meet up, but ideally you'll need a buddy as we'll messing about with stuff so I'd hate for you to be sitting around waiting for us!

That's my problem - the guy I've been diving with has moved jobs and now works in Amsterdam. He's also had a bad back since just after our last dive in August last year so can't dive at the minute anyway.
Thinking honestly about it, it might be a bit too early in the year for my kit unless anyone know different but if you're up again later in the year....?

You will possibly be warm enough on the dive, but the surface interval will be very uncomfortable in a semi-dry at Eyemouth at this time of year, making the second dive unpleasant if not dangerous unless you keep totally warm.

Like I said I've no experience of semi's so can't help unfortunately. I'm sure we'll be up again through the year, if not out on a boat somewhere

Think I'll hang on till it warms up a bit / get a dry suit.
My GF's sister is wanting an early 'extra' holiday soon so it may be a case of "Whoops, did I pack my regs by mistake - may as well have a couple of dives since I'm here!". I always feel a bit guilty leaving her to go diving while on holiday but it's not so bad if her sister and sister's fella will be there - wish I could get her to come diving with me!
