| Normandy Liveaboard - 19th-26th September 2008 Hi all, A colleague at Chester Sub-Aqua Club (Paul Wynne-Jones) has booked the MV Maureen of Dart dive boat (owned by Mike and Penny Rowley for those of you in the know) for a week Friday 19th to Friday 26th September 2008 (best Neaps for the year) to dive the area around Normandy and provides a rare opportunity to dive some truly memorable wrecks from both wars, depths from 20 to 40/45m. Maureen - Skipper: Mike Rowley - Port: Dartmouth The boat is a 67ft long 80 ton ex-Scottish drifter professionally converted to a diving charter boat. It has accommodation for 12 divers and providers a spacious, purpose designed kitting-up area, a wide stable ladder for easy re-entry into the boat and a 10.5 cfm compressor of ease of filling, no need to dismantle your gear. Nitrox available as an extra, air is inclusive. Accommodation is a mix of twin and single cabins with hot and cold water, two showers and two electric toilets. Food is of high quality with breakfast, lunch and evening meals all included. This boat is regularly chartered by Innes McCartney for his submarine treks around the English Channel so it comes highly regarded. The week’s charter will cost £511.00 per person and to secure your place a deposit of £150 will be required. The trip would be really be suitable for Dive Leaders and Advanced Divers. If anyone is interested in this trip please PM me and I'll put you in touch with Paul. Thanks, Justin. |
