Just got back form an all-morning meeting to find a text from Aaran. The skip has cancelled tomorrow

Aaran said he is going to PM everyone when he gets in from work later this afternoon, but a few people have already asked me about the weather so I thought I should post this on Aaran's behalf.

Helen, that's bad news for all of you. I must admit I've been watching the weather also and it looks particularly bad for all of us along the North East Coast.
If Aaran does manage to get another shot at a trip on spellbinder in the future, then I'd be interested.

Methinks it'll be housework or rest then.

Hi All, Sorry to say I have had a phone call from Allan, the skipper, he doesnt think its worth going out tomorrow
The winds are from the north & very strong, also forecast is snow
and to top it all off the Viz is around half a meter

soz but if I get other dates from Allan, I will give you all first shout
