| Shetland July 08 on Valkyrie I have some spaces on a trip to Shetland in July 08. The dates are 19th to 27th July. We will drive to Aberdeen on Sat 19th and then catch the overnight ferry to Lerwick arriving on Sunday morning. We will then dive Sunday-Friday. On Sat 26th we will again catch the ferry back to Aberdeen in order to drive back on Sun 27th. The diving will primarily be in the 20-45m range. As such it is aimed more at the recreational diver however there will be some Adv Nitrox/Deco Procs type diving available. It will include wreck diving as well as some very scenic dives. For an idea of what to expect take a look at DanE's trip report from last year. Shetland on MV Valkyrie, 14th-21st July 2007 The cost will be £490 plus share of ferry. This includes all diving, accomodation and full board on the boat. It also includes air fills although Nitrox and Trimix are avalable for additional cost. *1. Mark Powell *2. Harry C *3. Brian B *4. Andy D *5. John Touhig *6. the Duck *7. *8. *9. *10. *11. *12. I will also be able to run courses on the trip including Intro to Tech, Nitrox, Adv Nitrox/Deco Procedures, Trimix, Gas Blender, O2 Admin, First Aid, DPV Familliarisation or any others that you want run.

| Mark, Very interested in the trip. Just a couple of questions Is it your intention to take one vehicle with gear loaded and divers as foot passengers? Is the ferry booked already for 12 passengers? How much is the 'Gas Blender' course. Regards, Gavin |

| Q. Is it your intention to take one vehicle with gear loaded and divers as foot passengers? A. The ferry takes containers, simillar to the Scapa Ferry if you've been. So the plan is to load all the gear onto containers and then all go on as ferry passengers. We will then load straight onto Valkyrie at the other end. This should keep the ferry costs down. Q. Is the ferry booked already for 12 passengers? A. Not yet. Q. How much is the 'Gas Blender' course. A. Nitrox Blender is £120, combined Nitrox/Trimix Blender is £150.
