ha ha, i did feel sorry for them today though. It's horrible when you are feeling sick....

2nd dive wasn't too much different to the first, except there was no rolling sea to deal with.......

Thanks to everyone on board today for making such an enjoyable day out - and sympathy to those who didn't feel "too well", sorry if I kicked the arse out of the run time on the first dive but I was getting rid of my frustration of being blown out over Easter.

Well done to Smudge for running a great trip and dropping the shot smack bang in the middle of the wreck, despite my teasing about "... which direction to swim from the shot to the wreck?"

It was nice to meet up again with Chris, Steve and Purple Vonney (who could not dive due to a ripped neck seal - still she did do an excellent job of crewing on the second dive).

As a summery:

The first dive: Bennendjk - 1m vis, big swell and surge still at 27m , pitch black and cold, but it was in the sea!

The second dive: Contess of Erne - 1m vis, flat clam, cold, but it was in the sea.

Let's hope the weather holds good for next weekend

Yup, that was me! Really felt for the guys who were ill. I nearly was joining them!

Thanks to all for making a great day all the same. Always good to meet up with fellow YD'rs...and not to mention scrabble around on a wreck in the dark at 28m!

Chris

I have a sneaking suspision that the sickness may have been slightly self-inflicted, but it is a horrible feeling.

I was boarderline just before jumping in. If the viz hadn't been so bad, I'd have done a Paul and stayed off the boat for as long as possible!
