Why do people fly BA? What a crap company. They would go bust in a nanosecond if they were not protected by the government and their mates at BAA. Flagship my arse. I hate them and fly any other carrier if it is at all possible.

Chris
Whoa Chris - I think you need to rethink this attitude of yours. BA are an example to us all. They rightly have a new terminal built for them alone at a cost of £4.3 billion and the government are giving them no favours, apart from easing the planning constraints on T5.

Surely you don't expect them to train their staff before opening the new terminal do you, or ensuring that the staff can get to where they need to be or know where they are meant to be going. For goodness sake opening a new terminal has never been done before in the history of mankind and teething problems are to be expected - if only the stupid passengers would stop getting in the way. Next you would hope that they could get the transition as smooth as the one done by Eurostar when they moved the whole operation across London from Waterloo to St Pancras overnight - i.e. seemlessly - don't forget that T5 is over 50 metres away from the other terminals.

Your cynicism surprises me. NOT.

Same here, after having "dealings" with BA in the past, I realised why all the pens on the help desks are on chains?
It's not to stop stealing them, it's to stop people stabbing them into the necks of the staff that work on them!
