F*cking BA and Any Spaces this Weekend?

Howard and I were (and hopefully still are) going to Hamburg for a dive meet at Hemmoor.

However, BA have just suspended all hold baggage for flights this evening and we are hoping that they reinstate the hold baggage before I have to leave tomorrow morning at 06:30 for an 08:40 check-in at Terminal 5. Fortunately BA will be refunding flights if we cannot rebook (which we can't).

If they aren't accepting hold baggage and therefore we aren't travelling so we are going to see if there are any spaces off the south coast over the weekend.

I have just seen Paul (the Duck's) post about Scimitar canning Saturday but anyone know of spaces in the salty stuff this weekend? Otherwise it could be NDAC or Stoney!

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Now that is annoying.... any chance they can transfer you to the Birmingham flight (late morning) - it's not a great hassle to drive up the M40...

Thanks for that Rich (have a green), could do but there is no point in trying to ring someone tonight as the lines are jammed (funny old thing) but I would have thought that at 06:00 when I check the BA site tomorrow the phones will be a little quieter and can try and ask them then. If not, we are just going to stay here.

Hemmoor is great, used to go ther regulary, if you want gas other than air, there is a 'shop' about a Km down the road - come out of hemmoor turn left down the main road and take another left (the 3rd I think) bloke has a little sign dangling from his garden. He does nitrox, trimix and agron, well cheap.

Say hello to Marc Lembke for me.

Beware the 'Rutler'

Unfortunately the drive is 530miles from London and includes a ferry crossing or 575 miles if you go by Chunnel. For a weekend of inland diving, that is a bloody long way to go, especially as I start a new job on Monday morning and would like to get a decent night's sleep if possible.

Thanks for the suggestion though

Thanks Chriz, we have some really nice people who are lending us some twinsets and stages and getting the tins filled prior to our arrival. If we go, should be good. Just hoping.
