Last spaces sale .....roll up roll up roll up

Right

A new thread!

I have spaces available on the following dates and trips ;
.
.
.
.
2 spaces are available on "Scapa in Depth" YD trip 11-16th May 2008
Scapa In Depth 11-16th May 2008
.
.
.
.
Due to a cancelation the following week 18th -23rd May is also available for any group booking of 4 or more divers. (individuals prices)
.
.
.
.
I have 1 space available on "Wrecking the North Isles" YD trip 22nd - 27th June 2008
http://www.yorkshire-divers.com/forums/planned-trips-spare-spaces/59900-yd-wrecking-north-isles-2008-22nd-27th-june-12.html
.
.
.
.
I have 2 spaces available on the YD trip to the Shetland Isles as Ray and Sandra have had to pull out due to other immovable commitments. They are absolutly gutted at missing this one but it does give two other lucky people a chance to dive on this great trip. http://www.yorkshire-divers.com/forums/planned-trips-spare-spaces/59898-yd-shetland-2008-valkyrie-july-6-11th-5.html
.
.
.
.
Due to cancelation I have a week available for a full group (or nearly) on the 7th - 12th September 2008 ... This is a prime summer week with all options (except Shetland) available. Group rates apply (discount may be available if paid in full soon.)
.
.
.
.
If you are interested in any of the above spaces please let me know as soon as possible as these are the ONLY SPACES I have left for 2008.

Thanks

Hazel

Bit unfair mate. The title's fairly clear about what the contents will be.

I'd sooner see this in my 'New Posts' that something intriguing that turns about to be bugger all about diving, seemingly posted just to increase someone's post count.

... and this is just the sort of thread I was looking for a few months back when I found I couldn't go on the originally planned trip and was seeking Scapa/Orkney spaces elsewhere

Saves people a hell of a lot of wading through threads, some of which started 6 months ago and have loads of pages before you can ascertain the space availability. Just look at Big_Si's !! He even has a space list from another trip appear on the thread !!

Cheers Hazel Just what we need, succinct and precise

well if the thread was a bit shorter with less crap on it maybe it would be easier, or just keep the first post upto date, but then it would be top of the list all the time would it?

Hazel, this is a very good point. Gary's trips are always kept up-to-date in the first post.

Scapa gigs are often planned a long time in advance and the threads inevitably get very long and not a little off-topic. Trying to find out exactly what the state of play is, is often difficult and the last post is not always correct (or even to the point)

Nothing wrong with those threads and perfect that they become a joyful, exciting means for those on the trip to get to know each other. Give me more of those where divers are preparing for great diving ahead than bitching about it, or indeed just posting antagonising non-constructive posts on innocent, helpful threads

and on that note I'm going back to my run times and gas management calculations

I don't think you can expect Hazel, or anyone else for that matter, to 'police' trip threads. That is the natural progression and in many cases there are divers who have never met each other before.
They're about to spend a week on a boat together and the thread is a good way for them ALL to get to know each other, contribute and share experiences.

Once again, IMHO, an excellent example of YD doing exactly what it was designed for
