Post weather this weekend
has anyone managed to find a forecast that makes it look like we WILL get to go bloody diving this weekend. Ive been searching and searching and have only found the "blowing it's nadgers off" sites.

I haven't even looked but by the state of my back garden today I'd say it was about a force 8 easterly. Well, stuff isflying about all over the place out there so it is windy. So there may well be a hell of a swell.

... and we all know that easterly winds tend to give pants viz all the way up and down the channel! Even north-easterly (I've seen that on some forecasts) is v bad news.

wind & swell look okay on magic seaweed

wind looks okay on xcweather

but then I am diving out of eastbourne this weekend, I haven't really looked at portland & further east

I'm not holding out too much hope for the viz though

Looks to be a 4 all weekend though, but I'll bet vis is cacked even if you get out

I've just been to town and had a look at the seafront. Oh dear. A lot of the beach is now in the town centre, there are dirty great waves and I still have some sand in my teeth.
