I have a few spaces left for this years Portsmouth Pikey Shandy Gig - Unfortunately as usual the Diving Dud will be on this gig


Paul Oliver and the Diving Dud on the U90 July 2005

This is a 4 day gig but i will now take odd day bookings. We will be diving off of Oberon

Pick up and drop off at the waiting pontoon at Port Solent, gas will be sorted out using the Dive Connection and their pick up and drop off service along with their VERY good prices

Prices will be subject to numbers but basically £400 each for Fri and Mon and £500 each for Sat and Sun divided by the number of divers.


HMS Prince Leopold - One of the best dives on the South Coast intact, upright, guns, depth charges, spidge, loads of swimthroughs and only 32m

Diving will be basically 30m ish stuff with a shallower 2nd dive, the program is :-

25th Boat Leaves 1400hrs Camberwell 30m 1550hrs Drift Dive 17m after main dive
26th Boat Leaves 1500hrs Prince Leapold 32m 1645hrs Landing Craft 8m after main dive
27th Boat Leaves 0845hrs Wapello 33m 1110hrs Luis 16m 1500hrs
28th Boat Leaves 1000hrs U90 35m 1230hrs Luis 16m 1615hrs

One of the afternoon dives will now be an aircraft that was fairly recently discovered, not sure which one yet though.

If you don't get anyone to fill all 4 days I'll take sunday and monday definitely and possibly saturday as well.

I've bought a new pop up tent so will probably 'camp'

OK i'll put you down for them, last year we filled the last 3 or 4 spaces with local divers on odd days.
