We've just been out at the Farnes today for the first time in absolute months and it wasn't for the sake of trying. There's a hard core of people on these boards (such as me) who are willing to dive all year round at the Farnes and Eyemouth/Abbs and sometimes we succeed and sometimes we fail. Its the luck of the draw and very weather dependent. As far as booking a hard boat there are 3 main skippers to choose from who I assume you will know, who will go out from Seahouses midweek, but you will probably have to have a minimum number of 5/6 divers interested and who will actually turn up. Sadly, some people will say they are interested and up for the dive and not turn up! Best thing you can do is place a new post in the "looking for Dive Buddies" section on YD and you may get a good response. The season has yet to "kick off" properly up here, as the dive boat skippers have had a pretty poor start to the year so far and so although you may think that any business will be good business, your minimum numbers will still be the clincher. Good luck and if I could join you I would and lets hope that the weather picks up for you. Graham
