| Argonaut - Eastbourne - Sat 19th July Location : Eastbourne Date : Sat 19th July 2008 - 10:45 ropes-off Boat : Sussex Diving : The Argonaut I have been talking to Mike of this parish about a trip to the Argonaut on his rather nice cat: ![]() price is £45 for the day, main dive on the Argonaut & a drift on the way back from Dive Sussex: "The Argonaut is on an even keel with her bows to the south-east. Her iron hull is clearly screw-driven, but there were at least two masts of steel rigged for sailing. she is 334ft long with a beam of 40ft, and is in remarkable condition despite her age. She sits on a hard gravel sea bed at 32m and is at least 10m proud. the stern is very pretty & intact with 4ft-sqaure windows all round giving a castle effect to the poop deck" I am not booking the boat, if you are interested you will need to book direct with Mike. we need 6 people to make it a go'er divers booking solo must be prepared to dive solo or should agree buddies before the gig 1. sixsquid 2. copperband 3. broady 4. nic-bb (broady's missus) 5. Jimbob 6. Gav ---trip is a go'er--- 7. dave archer 8. andreas niebisch 9. Mike (Sussex) 10. Mike (Sussex) 11. Mike (Sussex) 12. Mike (Sussex)

| Will do. Dived the Fortuna today, with excellent viz for 'round here. Hope we get the same in July. I haven't decided what style I will be diving in yet. I might be going for something french and revolutionary in honour of Bastille day, or maybe a bit team Zissou. I got a nitrox fill the other day with my team zissou card. That's a lie. sorry. jim |

| Bright red beanie, but it doesn't count unless your mum knitted it for you. |
