The Unknown Sailing Ship - Weymouth

Just a tentative post to gauge some interest at the moment.

Myself and few others would like to go back to the Unknown Sailing Ship (USS) on a Friday sometime in June or July. I have 4/5 people interested at the moment, and just wondered if there's anyone else interested in coming along?

Depth is 50-52 metres give or take and it's takes a couple of hours to get on site. Don't expect a pristine condition wreck, as this is anything but. However, the aim of the trip will be to recover items (and declare them) in order to help identify the wreck.

Cost will be approx £45 per person. If you're interested, then put your name down, but there is NO financial commitment on your part at the moment. I'll do another thread when we have some firm dates etc....

So put your name down, and list a Friday or Friday's that you are available in June/July 2008

due to an overwhelming response would any other weekday suit people better? Weekends are out as all the charters are booked up long in advance . . .

I'd be up for it if you could just raise it about 10 metres

Let me know if you want support, say down to 40m, or maybe even surface/boat

You'd be fine, there is next to no difference between the two depths and most of the depth is 49 ish. You just need a squirt of helium, or do it deep air. It's the way ahead!

Yeah Make it Aug/Sept or the very last week in July and maybe ....
