Scuba Santas 2008

Being as its cold and wet I've been pondering winter...

I'm getting back into running as my neck is finally getting sorted so I've entered a couple of races around christmas (one is my fav Evilprofessor.co.uk » Blog Archive » Merthyr Mawr Christmas Pudding Challenge 10k 2007). So it got me thinking... what else is there to do but plan the 'Scuba Santa Dives 2008'!

I've applied to the guiness book of records again this year - was denied last year, possibly due to late application and no history of event. This year given the BBC coverage and the event 'history' we might have more of a chance.

So anyway, here's the first post about the event simply to gather consensus on which day the event will be held.

Plan is to have it at Vobster again, as Tim was great last year, but I'll have to have to chat to confirm that this is ok with him.

Anyway as to the dates, please select either day and put your name down as a possible attendee

3. Odin
4. Old Man Taylor (sure he can be talked into it)
5. PeeBee and can probably find an elf to come and sit on my knee too either day but voted for Saturday

7. Prometheus ,only if there 'aint a sea dive that w/end.

9. Big Kahuna

11. The Duck

13. 'Lucky' SilvaFish
14. Steve 'jolly fat man' S [if I can cadge a lift with Lou ]

That's an excellent response - sorry for not posting earlier - been a bit under the weather.

Anyway, we're all happy to see you again this year and will still be donating part of everyones entry fee to charity. I should have a couple of extra Santas and working on some BBC Santas also. Last year the footage made it onto Points West on Christmas eve.

Consider yourselves to all have parking spaces booked!
