portland - scimitar - july 4-5 2009 - normoxic wrecks

I have booked Scimitar for the weekend of 4-5 July next year. the plan is to do a couple of 50-60m wrecks - I rather fancy the Merchant Royal & maybe the Boudecia, but these are not set in stone. the tides are some of the best of the summer, so we should get some nice long slacks

Merchant Royal:


usual YD trip rules apply, if you book on, it is your responsibility to pay or fill the space with a suitably qualified and experienced person. divers booking solo must be prepared to dive solo or should agree buddies before the gig. gig cost may change slightly depending on the cost of fuel

the boat is £480/day, so £48/day each with 10 divers. if you would like a place, please let me know. I will need a £48 deposit to secure & then the £48 balance a few weeks before the gig next year. weekend bookings only please

in spite of me giving up diving (see here) this trip is still going ahead. Paul Bailey (hebails) has kindly offered to take over the running, so I will hand over the booking & deposits to him in due course

If anyone is interested my space is up for grabs, I haven't managed to complete my mix course as yet and as things lie it doesn't look as though I will be able to fit it in before the trip managed to get a cold just before my last opportunity
