Myself and regular buddy Bob would probably be there on Sun anyhow, so we'll try and co-ordinate things so we can say hello / join in the fun / etc. It's only a 2 hour drive for us so we'd be travelling up that morning.

My room at the Horse and Groom is now booked, place by the bar reserved and all for a very reasonable £25 per person per night! No idea what its like, or how to get there, but these are minor details!!

I was up at wastwater on Sunday. Viz was better than the previous week, but not as good as it has been earlier in the year. temp was about 9Deg @ 45m.
On arriving at about 10:30, the pinnacles site was completely packed! So you'll need to be there v. early to get on the grass. I don't know what the logistics of trying to dive from the car park around the corner would be like. Bit of a surface swim to where the cable is I guess, but parking is easier!
So, I'll be there just as soon as I convince the g/f that we require another day out in Wasdale, and her car will be the conveyance ( as I managed to prang mine on the way home )

Thanks for posting that info Colin, I think I'll stick with the hotel now! Besides the wife will kill me if I tell her we are staying in a barn! Might be useful for next time though!
Plan is to get here asap - once the hang over has subsided! Neil do you recon we could be there for about 8.30? have a brew and chill out etc. And of course gloat as we have parking spaces!
