Imported post Is anyone creative at thinking of clues? Why not make it a little tougher than usual, include a couple of dive sites (lakes and capernwray.) Give us something to do in the surface interval?? Make it an all day job ending up in a pub!

Imported post Hi "lads", The lovely lady who organised the last Treasure Hunts was DiveChick, she was raising money to go work on a Conservation Project in the Bahamas. I suspect by now she is there and having a whale ( or at least a dolphin ) of a time. Our team managed to win/ scrounge the booby prize - a cracked, chipped Beaver mug which is still on my car and is available as a prize for the next event - so some Nav practice may be very appropriate. After this fiasco, I bought a new compass as Ben and I had three between us and they all pointed in different directions - so much for always trust the bugger. Cant remember the clues ( and we didnt find em all anyway ) but they were only bearings leading to the next Crapenray feature. I believe some people did the whole thing in about 8 mins, we would still be down there gropng through the mists. (Edited by Billy the Kangaroo at 1:02 pm on Nov. 28, 2002)

Imported post Depending on date, we would be up for it, but I hope that there will be no "home advantage" to the flat-cap wearing, ferret-furgling contingent! :0
