Fud, BBQ and a Beach on Anglesey

Hi all,

I've just read Brens massage advertising the YD II gig on UKDivers. He mentioned a BBQ on the Beach. Is this on? Can anyone who know let us know what the score is. Do we bring our own food/drink etc.. I know we had a BBQ in the carpark at Stoney in Feb, but I didn't remember this untill I turned up. Is someone bring ing a v.large BBQ and coals? Should we be thinking of bringing some coals of our own to add to the BBQ or just sort out our own?

BBQ on the beach it is! We will be taking along a BBQ, admittedly not the largest one in the world, unless someone happens to own an 'industrial' sized one, I would suggest that people brought along their own. We could just group them together loosly, and hey presto, BBQ el fresco!

Anymore thoughts on this please feel free to continue....

hmm fitting in the kettle bbq may be a little tough with the kit... but the disposable ones from the supermarkets are a good substitute!

hmm have always thought a bbq at T-bay would be a good idea

Cheers

Ahhh..... Neil, you see the trick is to hire a van! Mind you, I'll probably need the van just to get the tent in!

Lets just hope the weather is and not !!

Beach BBQ

Yes folks I did mean the on beach. I had not thought about the campsite as I have a gas stove which I plan to take along. I will purchase a couple of desposable BBQ's to take to the beach though. I might also take a roll of black bin liners also as I suspect lots of disposable BBQ's will need disposing (pun) of. I don't expect the locals will enjoy an over flow of rubbish bins so I think the least I can do is bag up the rubbish to be left neatly next to the public bins.

BBQ on the beach sounds good to me as it is about 50 feet from my B & B. Last time the BBQ was at Porthdaffach, as this was organised by Geoff Oldfields' club, but I would think as most people are in Trearddur Bay either camping or B & Bing, the beach area furthest from the T/Bay hotel would be good (nicer part of the beach). Does anyone know what the tides are for the saturday evening? we don't want to get our feet wet :-)

(Sorry this is posted using the quick reply as it will not let me post a reply)
