Following on from the discussions here What and where are the shallow wrecks? and as mentioned in Rob's thread I have booked Blue Turtle out of Lyme Regis, Dorset for the evening of 9th July to dive the Bay Gitano.
I needs 10 people to make it work at £15 each. I have put it out to YD and my club as a few of us are one and the same
The Site: Wreck Tour: 93The Baygitano - Divernet and Baygitano - South West Mafia . Something for everyone, good wreck, a bit smashed but everything is there to see. It's only 20m so usually loads of light and a nice long dive. Even if you don't like wrecks, then it is smothered with fish and life or you can drift off after and get some Scallops.
The Dive Boat: Blue Turtle has a side lift. Parking 100yds away (£1 per hour). Drops the kit off at the end of the Cobb first. Takes 12 divers. Doug is an experienced diver & skipper around, CCR and solo (and both) welcome. Just make sure you follow his instructions.
Ropes off: 18:00 BST
Price: £15/head pay on the night
Usual YD trip rules apply, you say - you pay or fill the space with somebody suitable who will.
