OI. I had to be nice to people to get where i am today, and you're thinking about wiping out the only positive response i get in my life.

Keep it as it is. Then if you desperately need to know who neg repped you, you can whine to ADMIN to find out.

Wink keep it!

I vote to keep it and keep the sender anonymous. I personally choose to state the reason for red blobbing and I always give my name - but I love the fact that i don't have to!

I say keep it, but have the sender identified.

If you've got the desire to say something, you should have the courage to sign it.

Get rid I reckon, I'm too worried about upsetting anybody these days so don't speak my mind anymore!
I've had about five red blobs, no name or explanation (except on one which was a misunderstanding but no name so I couldn't explain)
the other four couldn't fathom why I have received them !
If you take away incognito people just won't send them anymore !
SCRAP ERM ............ so I can be rude again :-)
Steve

Personally I'm not that arsed. If I was worried that much about being popular I'd be in a different job. But some people do get touchy about it and have been upset. Added to that, I suspect some people are having a bit of fun and games in the background, deliberately bad repping people to observe the reaction. That's out of order and making all repping open and identifiable would prevent this.

I've never given bad rep - I have all my arguments openly on the forum for all to see. I do dish out good rep to those who make me smile. I think there's some value in it - the Doug Dive God thing had me pissing myself for days. I'd like to see it stay but I'd like to see the abuse of the system stop. Bring it out in the open.

For my money, either lose it completely (even stevens for all), or keep it and allow all members who receive neg-rep to see the sender's name! Saves me a ruck of work!
