Question Band Aid 20...Any Good?
Did anyone else hear it this morning? I'd be interested to know what you lot thought. Personnally I think it's niot a patch on the original but still better than band aid 2...

I agree with you. Listened to it earlier and the whole time was thinking it's not the same. However, if it rasies some money then who cares.

I agree with you, I have just heard it again and it is pretty poor to be honest and the fact they applaud themselves at the end doesn't sound good either.

I bought the LiveAid DVD last week and it is very good, the original one still sounds good. So far I am part way through the 3 disc.

As long as it makes money I'm not that bothered how good it is - the first version was a bit ropey in sections in any case but then thats part of the charm

Also went for the fourth option.

I really like the original as a song anyway, so don't think it needed updating, but as others have said, if it raises cash and awareness.......

Trouble is, which one will they play in future at Christmas? Also, will the new one still be listened to in 20 years time? I doubt it.

I notice how they have deliberately "forgotten" the quality recording that was Band Aid 1989....

Performers included such quality acts as Bros, Kylie, Cathy Dennis, D-Mob, Technotronic.... and Big Fun

I could go on. Quality. Perhaps Band Aid III's artists will have the same longevity
