[edit] actually that's a little cruel for me in this season of goodwill. What I would prefer is that they disappeared from the papers. Nothing more than that. I think the lack of publicity would A) drive the thin stupid talentless one mad, and B) allow the not quite as thin, but still stupid, with one (sort of) talent to concentrate on developing into a better user of said talent.

Working class boy done well - if naff.

Jeez,

What have the Beckhams done that we need to discuss their demise?

David is a moderately talented footballer who was extremely dedicated to his childhood team. He appears to be a loving Dad, he doesn't seem to drink, take drugs, beat his wife. The tabloid crap may just be this nations low life journalist jealousy fuelled hatred of success. He seemed to lose his red focus when he married Victoria and hasn't played very well since leaving OT.

I think his qualities outweigh his dodgy publicity seeking fashion faults surely?

I offer you Michael Howard, Tony Blair, Fox Hunters, Factory Fishing Bosses, All politicians.

Neill

not that I usually read the Daily Mail ... it was in the coffee shop as I was waiting for my brekkie ... but the caption in the paper was "The Chav Chapel" which made me chuckle!
