Get a red one with an engine and a big boot. and make sure you know where to put the fuel in.

Since when did a girl put fuel in?

I had a girlfriend once who understood that car engines needed oil... So she bought some and poured it all over the engine.... not in..... on....!

as for the cars... A3 everytime.... Or see if they'll upgrade to an S3....
Passat - ok
Mondeo - yuck, nasty, no, don't, foul, horrible, evil, satan's work on wheels....

The A3, but your enging choice is a bit off.

You need the 2.0tdi 170bhp s line A3 , I had one for a couple of days while mine was in for a clutch.

What a great car, probably as quick as the 2.3 v5 golf I had.

You will find the 1.9 a bit of a let down after driving one of those.

My second car is one of the new Audi A3 TDi-e 1.9 (the 'eco') and although the above cars are better performing, the question is how much do you want your wallet to sting because of it.

Any of the above cars end up with a £400 a year road tax bill, along with a shedload off your payslip if it's a company car due to company car tax. Plus the MPG is shocking. Unfortunately the government have gone hell bent on taxing to the hilt non-eco friendly cars (believe me - I have heaven and hell with my main car being a Pathfinder 4x4!). With diesel nudging 120p a litre and going only upward, the better the MPG the more chance you have of not spending half your income on fuel!

Cos the 1.9 is an eco (117g/km co) you pay £35 a year road tax, and generally we get about 65-70mpg.

Ok, it's not as fast top end, but 0-60 is pretty nippy and it comes with all the toys.

The only people I know who have put the wrong fuel in are men. Including the bloke who put his car in for a service and was given a swanky posh one (they thought he might buy it) for the day. He put the wrong type in and managed to write the engine off. The car apparently had only 14 miles on the clock when he picked it up.

I dont get taxed like that,
I have to do a Personal lease with a company called masterlease, I get lump sum per month in my wages and then get to pick whatever car from the list as long as it has 4 seats and no soft tops and pay the extra for what ever car I want.
I get taxed on a portion of the money they give me about £ 60.00 ish per month, all insurance, road tax and tyres are in the deal.
Then I get 15p per mile for fuel, so I only have to do 35 ish to the gal to break even.

G.
