This should do it....

I have to confess that after it's gone dark, I like to get out my 5 inch reflector and point it at Uranus.

Sometimes I get the brownie out and try for a good long exposure.

It's better in winter because it gets dark earlier, but the main problem is things getting steamed up if you come out too soon.

Sorry.

I seem to spend an awful lot of my weekend time wearing leather, running round woods hitting people with big weapons!

This link might explain a bit more, but probably not!

http://gallery.bearsfaction.com

The biggest events I go to involve about 3500 people all camping out for 4 days before having a big mosh on the last day, and until this year when I got butchered I was in charge of 300 of them.

The only way I'm giving up is when I have to trade up for a zimmer frame. I think eventually I'll end up with one of those little 4 wheeler jobs that you can go shopping in, run on the pavement and get in everyone's way.
I can just see me and the gang blatting down the aisles in Tesco's and being the first hooligan old git to be banned from the store for speeding, not quite a track day at Brands but life goes on.

My longbow is a 50lb'er (its a total beast) so it doesn't make much difference at short range!

My longbow is only a 30lb draw weight. The low poundage due to fact that we loose foam headed blunt arrows directly at people, no lob shots.

Good fun though.

SimonL thinks it's all a bit weird!

I also go on 1920's themed Cuthulu horror weekends, sort of high intensity murder mystery parties that run for 3 full days at a time.
