Thanks Stuart,
That’s a very well written article; the writer has highlighted some points I was not aware of. The Prism is a very well thought out piece of kit with a few design points that other RB manufactures should take note of. If only we were able to try every thing on the market before buying I’m sure we would all be a lot happier.

Dave.

Looks very good, would not have one after my YBOD, The O2's on the opisite side.

I agree it's a very good write-up. Not disinclined to blow my own trumpet, did anyone see the Diver Test I did of the PRISM in November 03? You can see it at:

Very good point, the Prism looks like a very good piece of kit but all the plus points are worth noting if your head keeps thinking "Left for lean, Right for rich". In a tight situation I don't think I would be able to get my head around the O2 being on the left. Maybe constant parctice would instill the new drills but the thought of learning over again is not one I would look forward to.

You don't have to. Unlike the YBOD, the dil add and O2 add are totally different. The O2 add button is a conventional drysuit inflator on the right hand side of the left counterlung (ideal for the thumb of the right hand or the index finger of the left) and the dil add is part of the ADV, which is a completely different shape and on your right shoulder. You really can't get them confused.
