| There seems to be a bit of demand for housings for the homebuilders/modifyers out there. Now I'll be the first to admit I'm crap at electronics but if you are happy with that bit, the housing itself is easy-peasy to make (as I've got an engineering company with all sorts of stuff). Connectors for the housing can either be glanded or if you want to totally protect against flooding down the cable I can get hold of Subconn connectors to plug your handset in which are good to full ocean depth, about 2.5 miles. I use them on my umbilical and they are bloody great. So........... housings, anyone? And I'll need some design to vaguely follow before I can price it up. Probably be stainless or delrin. And Delrin is really easy to source. You can even use high density ABS. But not nylon as it sponges water up.
