I'd be very interested in numbers here. Especially CO2.

PeteS on UKRS made a stick of thermocouples and wired them to a display so he can watch the thermal blip of the reaction front climb the stack. I haven't dived with him since he did it so I haven't seen it in the water but it seemed an interesting idea.

A thermal imager might be more fun - you could see the shape of the front and presumably see any channeling as spikes of heat...

Come on, you know you want to!

Funny you should mention that but I have a very expensive thermal imaging camera...however you would need to make the scrubber out of something IR transparent to see inside. It is more fun to use the camera to see through student's clothing...

I wish! I need US Government approval to move it out of my lab as it is considered military equipment. The paperwork in just buying the thing was immense. It has to be kept under lock and key at all times.

Now if Porg would like to visit me after hours then I'm sure it could be arranged....

Isn't any transparent/v. thin material suitable? Seem to remember peering through windows with one, once upon a time...

Failing that, what about a metal container so you can watch the front as it moves up the sides? Wouldn't be much use on the middle bit though...

Wasn't there a batch of Sony Camcorders which had Nightvision and inadvertantly allowed people to see through clothes? Or was that an Urban Myth...

Pierre, i worry about you love, i really do.

Hey if you want to count them, set yourself away - a metal detector is a definate possibility. I will be sure to wear an underwired bra to confuse matters.
