| Hi Mark, After reading though the web page a couple of times the new HUD looks to be the dogs. Have you ordered yours yet? I'm giving it careful consideration but I'm a little scared to part with the cash incase the new AP electronics come on the market soon. You have obviously thought this out, what's your thoughts on the matter. I hate buying stuff and then thinking if I’d waited a few months and spent a few more quid I’d have been far happier now. I know it’s a lot more than a few extra quid but then again you get a lot more than just a HUD. Dave.

| There have been more than a few takers - me amongst them. I took the view that the new leccies didn't give me a whole lot more than I already had, though admittedly the wrist handset looks the dog's doodahs. If it ever bloody appears on sale That said, my HUD's totally independent of the on-board electronics & monitors each cell individually, which is more than you can say for APD's. EDIT - re: price.... I've seen the numbers involved as regards producing the unit & keeping the legalese 100% (Uri doesn't want to go the way of poor Bob Howell). Rest assured it's good value for what you get.... | Any chance of any pics showing where the thing mounts on a KISS? I'm a little concerned about the extra cabling hanging about. Thanks Robert |

| Uri, Get you both ways, message sent, I'll have one as well, the plan being you bung it on the same time you do Marks. Andrew

So build one Quote:
I orderd my one today I looked carefully at my options and I see HUD as a major safety step. I just know I am not going to spend the whole dive looking at my handsets. The design of Uri's HUD is neat compact and more importantly transferable. It is also totally independent which I liked a lot. I have a VR3 forth cell so I have in line deco and I think the CO2 monitor thing is a joke so basically the HUD fills the gap between my standard YBOD and the Inspiration II. The Upgrade from YBOD to I 2 is 2.5K so it’s obviously not viable. The HUD at £700 and the VR3 forth cell seems good value in comparison. ATB Mark Chase
