| You are in definite danger of becoming my hero. Put me down for two. They will be perfect for my next project. Now all I need is an old KISS valve. Much better than the "pray it works" metering valve. Anyone considered making new caps to convert Xstreams to fixed IP? Brent

| What a Pair...? I always believe I'm gonna bugger something up so might as well get two whilst I'm at it... Oddly enough the Azi hasn't got a fixed IP, it works on standard 1st stages... odd I know, but since it's Nitrox rather than O2, the small change in flow rate gives a negligable difference... 15 bar at 40 Meters rather than 10 doesn't majorly affect flow rate... you might argue that it's probably around 50% up... but it's not completely linear from zero... actual inspired fO2 doesn't vary much. It's not true CMF but very close. Pure O2 and flow rates however much more critical... Two would be good... but if demand outstrips supply then one would do nicely. Cheers, Mark |

if you look on http://www.vk4tub.org/tubby/Jetstrea...stage_mods.jpg Tubby tells you how to convert a Xstream to non balanced IP. John, If you have any caps left over I'll have one as a spare (hopefully your lead time is less than Jetsam's) Regards Simon A |

| Thats a Jetstream first stage. The Xstream is very different. John, Appreciate that my friend, I am going to have to take you up on that. The original Xstream first stage cap is open to the water, it will need a totally new cap sealed to the body to ensure a fixed IP. I'll take it apart and have a look to see if there is a practical way to accomplish it. Then I'll get back to you. I love you man!
