| I've been using 1 or 2 Catalina S80's as that is what I have lying around, they are rather large for shallow stuff but they are fine in the water. Ian

HI Mark, I am currently using a 40 AL. I also have a complement of stage/bailout bottles. No steels since they do tend to hang a tad vs. sorting themselves into a nice slipstream position like the AL's. If you go on the KISS site look under the photo section under Rebreathers and you can see ... actually I can post it. One for bailout, the other for emergency deco. Cheers. ken Last edited by Ken : 05-02-06 at 03:40 PM. |

| Brief hijack - does anyone know offhand what the capacity of 40cf and 80cf cylinders are in UK terminology? (i.e. how many litres water capacity). An 80 is about 11L isn't it?

In essence with longer than 15-20 min bottom times, very difficult. This is why I have an independent twin drop tank and stage a cylinder at the bottom of the shot. I rely heavily on SCR and partial OC ascents to get home. Cheers Dave
