Is it worth putting a BOV on an Inspo

With all the talk on bailout, and such, is it worth sticking a BOV on an Inspo and if so which is the best. Or have APD got one coming out soon.

How long's a piece of string?

In my opinion yes you should have a BOV the lack of BOV is one of the inspo's big failings (next to electronics and Over the shoulder counter lungs).
Which one, well I only dive the inspo as it it has a CE mark so would have to be the AP one to keep this in tacked.

APD have one out now althoug I expect this current batch are already sold.

Yes, I would aldvocate the use of one. It gives good piece of mind. I have mine plumbed into the onboard diluent, but some dive with it directly attached to the off-board bailout. For me, it is there to give me time to calm down and switch to the off-board bail-out in case of an emergency. Nothing more.
As for which one is best. Like most things, it is personal choice. I have the divematics one which works well with my Cyclon 2nd stage and I hear that Golumgear do a very good one as well. APDs was not available when I looked last so can't comment on that.

BOVS are a great safety device and they encourage you to do the right thing ie go off loop.

Golum and V4Tec are good but AP are bringing out their own and DaveT is pushing a new lightweight unit that looks very nice. If i were getting one now id be looking at this unit:

Contact Brent for details
