Mod1 Red sea Help

Hi all

Wanting to do my mod1 over the winter in the the red sea
I don’t want to take my YBOD over, I just want to fly out do mod1
Then have a week’s holiday

Can some one recommend a dive outfit that meets my requirements?

Thanks,

Steve,
I did my Mod1 with Tekstreme in Hurghada. They supplied the Ybod and all gases ,Sofnolime etc in the price. The only other costs were for the TDI manual and your lunch on the boat. Mickael Heuze was my instructor and I highly recommend him.
Hope this helps

Tommy

Check out Jo Davin of Joe Divers. He goes out over the winter and they dive from Posiden Divers who have a spare CCR. Jo's a great instructor and this shore diving option may be more cost effective.

Dam I cant find his card,,,, contact Andyp for his number.

Would highly recommend Tekstream. Aaron & Mike are great guys, very professional. I'm an OC man myself, but their modified units have to be seen to be believed

Tekstreme / Emperor are good. I'm sure they can lend you a unit.

I did my course (but brought my own unit across) with Dave Thompson (who invented the Inspiration). He posts as Dave T on RebreatherWorld.

Steve

Try redsea college http://www.redseacollege.com/english...rebreather.htm

I have not been with them for about 3 and half years, but i know that they do all tek courses CCR, trimix etc etc. I asked about a CCR course last time i dived with them (3 years or so ago) and they had units at the centre for hire and all the rest of the gubbins then so i would imagine that they will still be there as they were quite well sorted for all tek diving.
They are based bang in the centre of sharm on the sea front. so not to far from sharks bay(they will pick you up from the hotel)

hope all goes well and you get sorted. Did you manage to book on for May???

keep in touch
Gaz
