| I've just been looking at the list of recognised rebreather training agencies/courses on the BSAC web site & PSA International doesn't appear! See: http://www.bsac.org/techserv/rrc/matrix.htm Is this the case or is the web page out of date? I'll most probably go down the PSA Intl. path when I do my RB Trimix training, it would be nice, bit not essential, for it to be recognised by BSAC. JT |

| I dunno, but I would contact Jeff Reed or Dave Lock and ask them. We had some people wanting to join us who had quals from another organisation, but weren't on the SALT table, so we phoned HQ and asked if it was ok to cross them over as X and they thought about it for a few days and then said ok. | Ok, I've dropped them an email asking them, but I'm out learning to in the Red Sea and I doubt they'll get back to me before Monday, but I'll post when I get back.Janos

I have just had a quick PM with Mike Rowley (BSAC Technical Group). The PSA rebreather quals are not currently recognised. Adrian

| Odd that. I have a PSAI MOD1 cert. I filled in a form and sent a copy of the card to BSAC HQ, asking to be registered as a BSAC CCR Diver and I got a sticker back for my logbook. It says "... has registered as a REBREATHER USER for Buddy Inspiration CCR". (their caps). And it has a space for the branch DO to stamp it. Does that mean that they recognise the PSAI rebreather certification? Or just recognise that I am a BSAC member who is also a rebreather diver?

I wonder if the person who sent the sticker did any kind of check. You might want to... Adrian
