Its a good point, but you have to wonder how valid it really is in the real world. The reality is its only really a concern when you're shallow.

The volume of KISS divers using units in decent diving, would seem to suggest that this risk is not as high as its perceived.....

Having said that, IF the eCCR is working properly, it does potentially have some advantages in a total siltout. On a KISS you have a certain leap of faith based on workload/duration, but then you could just go SCR.
